Let’s did it!
At this moment we are in the ‘hot phase’, like a melting pot of interactive and informational meetings. It is a first step of launching the financing process (crowdfunding campaign), and as a second step of the project the implementation will start.
As a first timeline until November 2024 we establish the financial resources to finance the living place through our non-profit organization, so that it can function as a secure foundation.
The second step starting in Winter 2024, we will focus on the practical matters such as creating a healthy and empowering community to live and work within the project as well as starting to recreate and structure the future garden.
An innovative crowdfunding project
The campaign is launched on the platform called: Open Collective.
It’s more than a crowdfunding platform, it’s open source and it offers total financial transparency on the participatory budget and possible movements completed through the organization.
Since we are aiming for a participatory, sociocratic inner structure of the project, we want to start here with a full transparency of the budget as well as the crowdfunding campaign.
To finance the living space and to start the project we need to reach 1.000.000 Euro, plus several renovation costs and the financial resources for the educational gardening project.
Since the intention has become clear to implement a participatory sociocratic method for the project structure, we already want to start with this right here. Presenting the opportunity of collaborative and transparent financing of the whole project.
With much gratitude and vulnerability we want to share that we are the vision holders of a living and learning space in Luxembourg where young and old people from all walks of life come together to share, support, learn and inspire each other. We will be the ones that will work hard day in and out to make this dream come true. Not only for us but for everyone that wants to become part of it.
